In the 1980s, a horrific tragedy destroys his family and shatters their carefully crafted façade of American middle-class perfection. Fifteen years later, in New York, he continues his struggle to move on with his life. His ever-increasing collection of novels that he gets for free from work becomes his sole refuge. Finally, he is granted a chance for redemption - or, at least, the next best thing.

‘...actor and director Tom Gentry’s done what many of us mere mortals could never achieve: vividly bring the script to a harshly real life.’
